Evidently the Mitch Stott Pro Mod team is looking for a little help from their friends in the Pro Mod ranks to help them in an almost futile attempt to catch Shannon Jenkins for the IHRA Pro Mod World Championship.

All Jenkins has to do to win is qualify for the field at Rockingham. In order for Mitch Stott to win he has to not only win but probably qualify number one and re-set both ends of the Pro Mod National record. In order to help their cause the Radiac team has sent forth the following bounty offer:

1. If Jenkins does not qualify any driver who qualifies in the field in
front of Jenkins will receive $500.For example if Jenkins qualifies 18th (misses the field by two spots)the final two qualifiers will each receive $500.If he's 20th, the final 4 qualifiers will each receive $500.

2.Regardless of where Shannon Jenkins qualifies, any driver who takes him out in the first round of eliminations will receive $1,000.

The Agent can hear the fat lady warming up backstage but she isn't singing...yet. [10-4-2002]

Normally Agent 1320 doesn't do questions and answers but since his first race car was a 1963 1/2 Galaxie 500 with a 406 under the hood, this note from a reader peaked his interest. Evidently all Ford Factory T-Bolts were supposed to be made in 1964 except for two that were made in 1965 by Dearborn Steel and Tubing for Ford. Supposedly Ford was going Funny car racing by then and abandoned the '65 T-Bolts which then were acquired by a driver named Darrell Droke. The Droke car was Poppy red in color and a second car was driven by
Paul Harvey sponsored by Paul Harvey Ford(candy apple red). Both were '65 Fairlane T-Bolts. Can anyone shed any light on this deal for the Agent? Write [10-4-2002]
