Check Out That Chassis

Scott,

I'm trying to complete a half done job on remounting the ladder bars in the back of my Holden Statesman (real big like Impala). The Shop went under and I probably am lucky just to have the car back. Anyway I no longer have a front mounting point for the ladder bars.

What I do know is where the Diff should be, Rough ride height.
And where the mounts should be in length, but not how high they should be.

Any pointer on where to start other than another shop who will "redo" the job again?

Sounds like you have a lot of the info needed to start. Go with your

numbers and set the ladder bars so the bottom tube is level with the ground and set the front bracket so you have at least 1 hole down and the rest up for your adjustment.
