Check Out That Chassis
The key issues in buying a used altered, dose it have suspension?
The drive fit and drive train fit? Is it certified? Chrome moly or mild steel?
If it is a chrome moly car the key thinks to look at are, is there any cracks around the welds and has it been repaired or welded on. To many repairs it one spot can be a major problem.
The tubing will not wear out the welds heat effected zone will and this is the area where a crack will happen the soonest.
The chassis passing tech? the chassis will cert if all repairs are done correctly and tech at your local track will let you run if you have a current chassis cert tag.
