I what to install one of those sportsman sirocco/ribbit style single core, plastic tank Aluminum radiators. It will be used in a 9.8 second car SBC. Will these radiators work for drags? Will the plastic tanks Fail? How good are they?

Ken,

That style of radiator has been used for years in Drag Racing. One in good condition should work fine. The only thing that may be a problem is if it will keep your engine cool enough depending on the setup. If using Methanol it will work fine. Race gas may be a problem if you run in hot muggy conditions and don't stay on top of it. As with all things, it depends on the setup. Hope this helps.
