GORDIE BONIN

Bonin, a member of the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame, was one of the premier Funny Car drivers for a large part of the 1970s and early 1980s. He even found time to win two NHRA national events in the 1990s. All in all, he nailed nine NHRA national event wins and a pair of AHRA titles. In his NHRA career, the biggest win was in Fuel Funny Car at the Silver Anniversary NHRA U.S. Nationals. He also has three Gatornationals and two World Finals wins. He also is a member of the Cragar Five-Second Club, joining in 1979 with a 5.97 recorded at the U.S. Nationals.

TERRY VANCE

Ruled the Pro Stock Bike world and was the class's Don Garlits. Drove a V-8-powered fuel bike to E.T.s as low as a 6.96. Overall, Vance had 24 NHRA Fuel Bike and Pro Stock Bike wins. To state his case bluntly, ever hear of Vance & Hines?

CLAYTON HARRIS

Clayton Harris is one of the most underrated tuners, drivers and fabricators in drag racing. He tuned budget racer Richard Holcomb to the third four-second pass in drag racing history and tuned Paul Romine to the first five-second front motored Top Fuel pass in history. He was an innovator, being one of the first and last to use nitrous oxide on a Top Fueler. As a driver, he was the IHRA Top Fuel Champion in 1978 and won the NHRA Summernationals Top Fuel title in 1973.
