I was granted permission to cap all metal guardrails on all drag strips 20 years ago by Russ Dean, head council of NHRA and Robert Leonard, director of the IHRA. If anyone knows Sammy Hagar, please tell him to get in touch with me, Terry Cook of www.thetopcatplan.com I need his permission to use his song. I have a pro-fuel song: three verses to racing Pro-Fuel to the tune I Can't drive 55.

I just read the new "Innerview" with the great Shirley and I have to say that "Innerview" might just be the best part of your e-mag (or is it e-zine).
I love Shirley's spirit, her courage, and most of all, her honesty. And of course Wally was wrong: the drivers are unquestionably the stars of NHRA just as the players are the stars of any sport.
Doing a great job on stats but I would like to see more blueprints of engine set-ups and clutches if possible. Please and thanks.
Do you think Earwood put any research into the name? Seems to me there is already an organization called the NDRA that’s been operating in Canada for the past two or three years? Like you, I am just wondering.
Now it appears that Earwood’s announced NDRA has been replaced by the Scruggs family’s PDRA.
Like your format. I have lost interest in NHRA pro drags. Was at Epping in June. Went back in September for nostalgia and really enjoyed that event. Will go back for next year. Don’t know about the pro event though.
