How corny can we get? Or, maybe, lend us an ear

In reference to the Burk column of July 10, as an e-farmer, I can tell you that the corn idea has merit. It will stop you pretty quick. Problem would be that the corn starts out real small, gets big, then matures and dries up, all within a short season. You only going to race at certain times of the year?

Joking aside, I would hate to see a MC hit a net going at the speed Angie was going when reached the end of the sand trap. In this case I am sure she was better off to go for a ride through the grass.

Drag racing could really ‘go green’ with this idea

Burkster, I have always known you were smarter than your average bear, but this is your best idea yet. Let’s stop and think about the possibilities.

1. Talk about going green, just think about the subsidies for planting vines and ground cover at the finish line!
2. New sponsor opportunities from the camo companies.
3. Instead of penalties for oil downs, mix in some poison ivy.

The possibilities are endless.

Still talkin’ about the bikes

Just think if Angie was at Seattle. That would have been real bad! RIP, Mark Niver. She was very lucky!

Matt has a set on him also after seeing that and then riding his bike.

The chute idea for bikes is right on!
