AN OPEN LETTER TO JIM TICE JR.
Jim Tice Jr. should be thinking very seriously about an AHRA comeback. What do you think Jimmy? How many tracks are ready to sign up? You might be shocked at the previous AHRA national champs that would support the comeback...start out small and build. Your dad did it!!

NEW FUTURE FOR SPOKANE?
Just wondering, is anyone at the IHRA aware of what is happening in Spokane? If not, I think they should be. This track would make a great addition, and give them another western race. I know improvements would be needed to bring it to national event standards, but if a new owner had a 5-year IHRA contract, they could see a positive return on the investment.

A FULL-COURSE MEAL
You guys do a great job!!
Marty Reid does a great job and needs to be there full time. Paul Page is clueless, I want to choke him through the screen. ESPN2's video is great, Mike Dunn is great but there isjust too much crap. Why repeat video of first round before running second round? They do this for each round. They could take all of the crap out and wasted time out of the broadcast and include the semi-finals forward in all classes, doing justice to the sport not just the pros. Of course, being the addicted drag racing nuts that we are, we are going to watch no matter what crap they serve up to us.
Anyway, who am I? Just a little drag racing peon.

CASUAL FRIDAY SHOULD BE EVERY DAY
I agree with (Burk’s) comments regarding Marty, Paul and Mike wearing suits on air. Even the NHRA "suits" do not wear suits to an event. The broadcast does not originate from the ESPN on-air studios in Bristol, CT. Dressing similar to the pit reporters would be very appropriate and still give the viewer a sense of "these guys know their stuff.”

TEMPORARY QUARTERS?
Norwalk! How long before Norwalk returns to the IHRA? Five years, three years, never?

A BIG GOOSE EGG?
This new points deal sure sucks in my opinion. Eight car fields indeed! I'm almost 65 and might just live long enough to see NHRA kill the golden goose they own.
