TEN-WIDE PROBLEMS ARE FAMILIAR
Ian, ALL classes are dominated by dollars. It is just the way it is. Low budget teams cannot really compete with high dollar teams.

COMP ADJUSTMENT
I agree with (Will Hanna’s) thoughts on Comp and two classes. I would also like to see index given back to every class at the start of the new season, cost-$0. The "soft” indexes would be the first to re-adjust; classes that took a beating could be competitive again without having to purchase $10-$100K of parts or engines.
Top Sportsman! - watch out, our local series is a lot of fun and pays more to win a Saturday night race than winning a division race in Comp!

HOW DO WE GET CHANGES MADE?
I agree 100 percent with what Will Hanna had to say about changes to NHRA Comp racing. The question is how do we get NHRA to make such changes?
I own the K/A that Dave Dupps drove from 1997 through 2001. Racing on a fairly limited basis and won several races during that time. It got so crazy with all the things Will mentioned I couldn't afford the time or money to continue racing Comp, so the car has been parked since. I now race a Super Stock car (still have the Comp car).

A PICTURE IS WORTH. . .
A long delayed compliment…the photography on your webzine is consistently head and shoulders above anything else out there. Every issue, every feature, there are always good photos along with a few spectacular ones. For example a few issues ago the one with the two drag boats, one on fire and one going over, WOW. I never checked and still don’t know who your photographic staff is, but whoever they are they are doing a GREAT job.
I’m a former track photographer (long ago) so I think I appreciate this stuff more than average. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words, Bill. We also think our photographers are the best in the business. For those of you wanting to see the full list, the staff box is on Burk’s Blast.
