SOME IDEAS TO IMPROVE THE RACE PACKAGE

In my opinion, NHRA needs to remember that it is putting on an entertainment show for the fans. NHRA could put on the most "extreme drag package" in history.

Here are a few ideas: Top Fuel, funnies, and Pro Stock -- all run, not just 16. Add Pro Mod, nostalgia dragsters and funnies, fuel altereds, and fuel bikes.

Make Comp eliminator dial in for each run. This would keep the high dollar crowd from bombing the index of a class that was designed to let the "little guy" have a chance.

NASCAR does not run hobby stocks at the Daytona 500. Why shouldn't NHRA put on its best show too? For an organization that is registered as non-profit, it certainly does not have a great pay out back to the racers.

AN ARMY OF ONE?

Do you ever write anything pro NHRA? All you ever put out is crap about small-time races at small-time tracks that no one cares about. And then slam NHRA every chance you get. All the while you are to dumb to admit that without NHRA you wouldn't make a dime.

Thanks for the coverage of the Red Bluff Nitro Nationals. I love to attend Red Bluff races as I think they are the best (that is coming from a person that has been a race promoter). I had to miss this year due to a graduation so I can not get my hands on enough stuff to find out everything that happened. I have been involved in drag boat racing for 15 years -- as a race crew member, race promoter and fan. I have come to know the racers as family and am always excited to see positive print on this event. Your article has been a very positive addition to this sport. Thank you for your coverage.

DRAGGIN' 'EM IN

I just found your site and as a true drag boat fan, crew member, promoter, and sanctioning board member your coverage is some of the best I have ever seen. The photos are truly awesome. Your site has become the talk of the forum sites for this sport. Keep up the GREAT work. Hope to see you at more events.
