JUST A WHIFF

Jeff, we are the last generation of old school guys! If this generation could even get a whiff of what we are all about this country would be a whole lot better right now. Thank you for

keeping it real!!! In my neck of the woods they call me an old fart. These kids don't even know what a fart smells like.

RACING, BUT AT WHAT PRICE?

Jeff, you ask a lot of questions that I have wondered for years. Carry on my brother. I also wonder why it has to cost $200.00 in tickets to attend a four-day NHRA event! I am disabled and I have to save all year to attend Dallas' National event. Not to mention 3 nights in a motel, another $175.00, and another $100.00 for meals (and that is not eating at the track)!!! 500 bucks for 4 days...

BACK TO THE BLOWOVER PROBLEM

Ag sprayers have boom height sensors on the ends to keep the booms from hitting the ground. Something like that would just measure the distance the front end is from the ground and trigger a fuel shut off or other means to slow the car. Simple and not affected by horizontal Gs.

SEPARATE BUT EQUAL?

Hey what about this? Break some of the races up. What I mean is, have some selected (special) events feature T/F, Pro Mod, P/S bike, and maybe bring back P/S Truck. Then have an event that would feature F/C, the top alcohol cars, and P/S cars. The idea here is have more diversity without having all the pro classes running at the same time at the same place. Let’s say 16 full events and 10 special events. Just me thinking; thanks for listening.

ANOTHER ROUND WITH THE BURKSTER

Hello Jeff... Thank you for your hard work and dedication at DRO and sister publications. Especially with the informative interview with Mr. Beard. Very informative and insightful.  Night racing is O.K. with me!  Haven't heard much from Dan Olsen of late... Just wondering, if he would allow another "update" interview with the Burkster?  Kinda let us know how and what he's thinking.

Again, thanks for journalistic excellence!
