The AA/Supercharged Gasser Shootout was held along with the Willys Home Run (“A Gathering of Gassers”) at the annual Sunday Niagara Drag Strip Reunion on Aug. 1-3 outside of Buffalo, NY, at Dunn Tire Raceway Park. The U.S. Gas Coupe and Sedan Nationals drew over 160 gassers from the Eastern U.S. and Canada to run on the eighth-mile strip.

Eleven cars showed for the Oddys Automotive AA/Supercharged Gasser Shootout that is open only to 1960’s era correct Gassers with a straight front axle, a 6-71 blower, and 13-inch wide max. tire.

The eight-car qualified field was set with two qualifying runs on Saturday and one on Sunday morning and set to run off heads-up for the $2,000 total cash purse.
