Midwest Pro Stock veteran Delon Joseph came to the race with a new car and partner. He has teamed up with the Chambers Brothers and put the sanitary nitrous-injected ’63 in the fourth spot with a 4.145. The team burned a couple of pistons in a first round win and were done for the day.
One of the more unusual Pro Mods at the event was Dustin Miller’s ’94 Olds Cutlass. The ex-Pro Stock was powered by a nitrous-injected mouse motor using one stage of juice and backed by a five-speed Liberty trans. The beautiful little car ran a representative 4.515/154.53, both of which were personal bests for the team.
