Quain Stott and the LeeBoy team would be the second pair out in Pro Modified, right behind his team car driven by Tommy D'Aprile. D'Aprile made a trip into the sand pits, allowing Stott time to think about his match-up with Rowe.
"Maybe I had too much time to think about it," Stott explained. Stott made a final minute clutch adjustment waiting on the track clean up after the D'Aprile incident. "The track was a little tricky all weekend for us," he said. "Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't changed the clutch setup. I'm certain we wouldn't have shook the tires at the hit."
ALCOHOL FUNNY CAR

Paul Noakes was the Alcohol FC winner. He got into the final round getting by fellow London, Ontario, Canada racer Rob Atchison.
“Robbie does our fuel system and we couldn’t have this without their help,’ Noakes said.
Noakes, in a Mustang II, was handed the final-round win when Frederick Tigges re-lighted.
Mark Thomas maintains a 425 to 397 points lead over Atchison
PRO STOCK

A Ford was also the winner in Pro Stock, with Robert Patrick taking his three-week-old Jerry Haas-built car to a 6.437/218.12 win over a 6.448/216.76 for Pete Berner’s Pontiac GTO.
Berner has an eight-point lead over Patrick in the Pro Stock points, following Tony Gillig and Frank Gugliotta.
The race will be shown on SPEED Channel on July 29 at 5:00 p.m. (Top Fuel and Nitro Funny Car) and August 12 at 2:00 p.m. (Pro Mod, Alcohol FC, and Pro Stock).
