The new MK 8 LT features new advances in air flow and proper port construction above the supercharger inlet port.
The hat which features a 65 square inch blade opening, captured set back blades, spread front mounting points (for both air flow and for ease of mounting), and CAD designed inner radii to properly feed the supercharger inlet port. Bottom openings will range from 9 inches to 10.5 inches. Gandolfi’s states, “It’s actually simple thinking when it comes down to it. We want non-turbulent controlled air entering the rotor cavity. The way the air enters the passing rotor is the key, and when we improve the rotor fill we increase the engines horsepower potential.

Total Seal AP Steel Ring Sets for Chevy LS Series Engines
Total Seal announces that their AP Advanced Profiling steel top ring sets have been greatly expanded to include LS1 - LS6, LS2 and LS7 Chevrolet engine applications.
For LS1 – LS6 engines there is a 1.5, 1.5, 3.0 mm ring pack featuring a choice of conventional ductile moly or AP steel top ring in either our patented Gapless, or conventional styles. They’re available in standard, + .005" and .015" file fit over-sizes.
For LS2 engines, a 1.2, 1.5, 2.5 or 1.5, 1.5, 2.5 ring pack is available in + .005" oversize with top ring choices of conventional ductile moly or AP steel in either Gapless® or conventional..
Applications for LS7 engines feature a 1.2, 1.2, 2.0 ring pack with a choice of AP steel Gapless or conventional top ring. They’re offered in + .005", .015”, .025” and .035” over-sizes.
Also now available are ring packs for use with aftermarket pistons using the 1.5, 1.5, 3.0 ring pack in bore sizes ranging from 4.000” - 4.185”. They also come with AP steel top rings in a choice of either Gapless® or conventional styles.
