How we doin' so far?
After 5 events, I thought we would look at a chart similar
to what I published in my last article. Here a few highlights:
In Top Fuel, 25 different drivers have qualified in 5 events,
but only 5 different drivers have won over 50% of their rounds of racing.
Larry Dixon being the highest with an 88.2% winning percentage.
Also of note:

Only 9 drivers have qualified for the first 5 five
races this year.

Larry Dixon has an 1.8 qualifying position average.
-
The both beer cars are averaging a semifinal showing
at each event.
In Funny Car, 22 different drivers have qualified in 5
events and 8 drivers have won more than 50% of their rounds. John Force
has the highest winning percentage (80%), but Del Worsham has a higher
rounds advanced average. How does this happen? Force qualified
for one more event that Del and was able to add round wins to his winning
percentage.
In Pro Stock, 22 different drivers have qualified in 5
events and 9 drivers have won more than 50% of their rounds.

Look out for Mike Edwards...when he qualifies, he has
the highest winning percentage (72.7%) so far this year.

Similar to FC, 8 drivers have yet to win a round of
racing and 8 racers have qualified for every event.
