They are also looking to include HA/GRs and early gas dragsters. These are the classes that have been popularized by those retro junkies over at www.jalopyjournal.com, a very cool website that embraces the retronaut's world completely. If your old lady looks like
Bettie Page, your Rat Rod has plywood floorboards and you only listen to Gene Vincent, you better be on this! At all three of their Famoso dates, they're inviting any and
all HA/GRs and early gas dragsters, altereds, roadsters, as well as inline and flathead-powered slingshots.
All of these must meet NHRA safety standards to participate in an exhibition class. It will be a non-competitive (grudge) class with a guaranteed number of runs offered throughout the day. All information can be found on the HAMB Drag's website, www.hambdrags.com.

Got word of another event that’s happening later this year. Don’t try to tell me I’m last minute! The Muscle Car Reunion and Nostalgia Drags will happen October 6-7 at Kansas City International Raceway. “Big Daddy” will bring out Swamp Rat 8 to this event, which also promises all nostalgia drag racing classes, along with a swap meet, manufacturers' midway and a huge car show. They have a "web presence" (I heard that phrase used on the news the other day) which can be found at www.musclecarreunion.com.
