RULES

  • Open to 1959-69 period-correct Super Stock cars with multiple carburetion and series-approved body and big block engine combinations
  • Cars must have complete interiors
    (back seat optional)
  • Period-correct hood scoops or flat hood
  • Maximum rear tire width of 10.5W
  • No sheet metal or tunnel Ram
    intakes allowed
  • No electronics
  • No trans brakes; two-steps allowed with manual transmission only
  • Cars will run ¼ mile, on .25-second interval indexes from 9.00 to 13.00
  • Entry fee: $100 (car and driver) -- Please call Chris Schneider in advance to reserve pit space
  • The decision of the race director is final

Dates announced for Victory Performance NSS Series; two events with Monster Mopar Weekend Series

Race Director Chris Schneider has announced the dates for the 2012 Victory Performance Nostalgia Super Stock Series. The series expands to six events and  travels to Byron Dragway for the first time. The series, which has a large number of Mopar participants, also teams up twice with the Monster Mopar Weekend produced by Josh King.

The series is sponsored by Dennis Mothershed’s Victory Performance Products in Des Moines, Iowa. Returning presenting sponsors are Mickey Thompson Tires and DragRacingOnline.com. Associate sponsors are A&A Transmissions, Indy Cylinder Head, Mancini Racing, and TTI Exhaust.
