Hot time at NMCA-West

The 2nd Annual Lucas Oil NMCA WEST Coast Shootout was held at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, Calif., on Aug. 17-19. Stanke posts cash for first round runners-up in DRO AA/FC Challenge at World Series

Former DRO AA/FC Challenge car owner Roger Stanke, who has a line of specialty tools and other components he sells to racers (including the AA/FC racers) through his Stanke Motorsports, has posted a $100 cash contingency for the first round losers in the Mickey Thompson Tires AA/FC Challenge eliminations at this weekend’s 59th annual World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park.

“All I ask is they have the stickers on their car and have bought something from the company and I’ll give them a nice crisp Benjamin should they lose in the first round,” said Stanke. “At least they can buy the crew dinner on the way home.” [8/21/2012]
