Over their racing careers totaling a combined 110 years, veteran drivers Chris “The Greek” Karamesines and Fred Farndon have faced almost every Top Fuel driver there is, excepteach other. That lapse will come to an end on April 4 when the two will be paired in the qualifying session of the IHRA season opener in San Antonio.
“I’m looking forward to it, it should be fun,” the 69-year-old Farndon said of facing the 79-year-old Karamesines. “Of course, I would rather race him in the finals, so we’ll just see how things shake out.”
