‘FUNNY CAR FEVER’ AT RMR
Jack Harris (shown) had the Fastest MPH at the July 8th, Funny Car Fever event at Utah ’s Rocky Mountain Raceway. Kris Krabill was the quickest with a 6.139 e.t. and went on to win the event when final round opponent Mike Adams turned on the red light.

IRWIN TAKES CIFCA ‘FOX HUNT’
The California Independent Funny Car Association held their 32nd annual Fox Hunt at Sacramento Raceway with 20 teams vying for the 16-car field. Mike Irwin, who got into the second round after a first-round loss by being the quickest loser, got his first CIFCA win with a 7.52 against a too-quick 7.499 for Tony Doca (near lane). [7-19-2006]
