JUST CALL HIM ‘REV. SCELZI’

Maybe he’s looking for a little divine intervention in his on-track performance or maybe he’s lining up a new career for after he decides to give up drag racing, but Funny Car driver Gary Scelzi is a newly ordained minister.

In fact, he performed his first wedding during the recent Denver Mile-High Nationals. Scelzi united race fans Scott Basom and Terri Hunnacutt from Salina, KS, on Thursday during the Mopar Big Block Party. Ron Capps was best man and Angelle Sampey was maid of honor.
