EATON CAR STOLEN, $5,000 REWARD OFFERED
Eaton is joining in the worldwide search for “Chocolate Thunder” the $450,000 custom convertible built by Rad Rides that was displayed at the Eaton booth during this year’s
SEMA show and won the prestigious Mother's Shine Award. Rad Rides is offering a $5,000 reward for tips that lead to the return of the classic car and arrest and conviction of whoever took it.
The 1937 Ford convertible with an Eaton supercharger, limited slip differential and Aeroquip hoses, was stolen around 6 a.m. on April 6, from a parking lot in Brockville, Ontario, Canada along with its support trailer and Ford pick up tow vehicle.
Police have no leads and there are fears that the vehicle is headed out of North America and is destined to be sold on the black market. It was one of three classic vehicles stolen that week in Brockville. The vehicle was touring car shows throughout North America and was being transported in a 32-ft trailer sponsored by Eaton. Please contact Rad Rides at 815-468-2590 with any information. [4-11-2006]

Ashley Force continues to ready herself for a career as a Fuel Coupe driver. In testing Monday at LVMS she recorded a career best ET of 4.936 at 315 mph on her third test run. Her quickest ever run before was the 5.23 which she ran in the A/FD dragster that she is campaigning this season in the Lucas Sportsman Series. She's getting quicker and faster and the Agent thinks it a safe bet that dad is getting grayer. (James Drew photos) [4-11-2006]

Australian “Pro Mod” racer Aaron Lynch recorded the second five-second Top Doorslammer pass in Australian history during first round eliminations at one of their big “Tin Top” doorslammer meets.
Lynch ran a 5.973 at 245.77 mph to make him the second member of the Australian Top Doorslammer 5-second club and only the third door car pilot in drag racing history to make a five-second lap. The Agent believes the 245.77 also makes him the fastest. [4-11-2006]
